45CS Monday Meeting - September 13, 2021

Last night (Monday, September 13, 2021) was another very busy night for the 'Hawks'. The evening started out with the cadet 'Hawks' working on some physical training. The senior 'Hawks' all met up and witnessed oath being taken by newest SM Jacob Gillette. After, our special guest speaker, Capt. Travis Carney, Squadron 25 Commander, spoke about Civil Air Patrol's new sUAS mission and all the different aspects entailed with that. The evening ended out with both cadet and senior 'Hawks' receiving awards! Congrats to C/SrA Lucas Davies for receiving the Red Service Award, SM Dillion Johnson for receiving the Level 1 Onboarding Certificate, SM Michael Mikita for receiving the Level 1 Onboarding Certificate, 2nd Lt. Wendy Tillekeratne for Public Affairs Officer of the Year, Capt. Carolyn Usher for Finance Officer of the Year, and TSgt. Salvatore LaManna for Overall Senior Member of the Year!!! Special thanks to Capt. Carolyn Usher for arranging our special guest of the evening and Maj. Aaron Stout for some of the amazing photos! Yet another amazing evening for the 'Hawks' of the 45CS!!!
