45CS Monday Meeting - May 1, 2023

(Monday, May 1, 2023) Hard to believe that we are already in the month of May! This evenings meeting at the "nest" started off with the "Hawks" monthly Safety meeting. The Safety meeting was presented by C/CMSgt Hausman. He spoke about the dangers of extremely hot weather and how important it is to stay properly hydrated. There was also cadet squadron inspection and drill. The evening ended with a very positive note. There were many "Hawks" that were promoted and many that received awards. We here at the "nest" wish a very big (in loud "Hawk" fashion) CONGRATULATIONS to: C/A1C Meehan, C/A1C Roland, C/A1C Wright, C/SrA B. McMeans, and C/SrA T. McMeans. The Wright Brothers Award (Milestone, completion of Phase 1 of the CAP Cadet Program, and subsequent promotion to new NCOs and Cadet Staff Sergeants) awarded to: C/SSgt Chapman, C/SSgt Lopez, and C/TSgt Hicks. Model Rocketry Badge awarded to: C/CMSgt Hausman. Lastly, Achievement Awards (Supporting Hemet Composite Squadron 59s emergency move that was earlier in the year) awarded to: 1st Lt. Goede and Capt. Alg. These "Hawks" just keep soaring higher and higher! GO 45! GO HAWKS!
