45CS Glider O-Rides Los Alamitos - Feb. 27, 2022

(Sunday, Feb. 27, 2022)  Nothing is stopping these 'Hawks' from flying!  This time they went over to Joint Forces Training Base in Los Alamitos, CA.  There they took to the air in gliders.  Gliding is much more different than you would expect.  You need an Orientation Pilot, Winch Operator, a ground crew (at least 4 people to push the glider into position or recover the glider after landing), a Safety Officer, an Admin Officer, a Wing Runner, and someone to help assist with hooking up the glider.  This requires a lot of teamwork and skill.  These 'Hawks' are absolutely unstoppable!
