C/Capt. Roberts Earhart Award w/ Thunderbirds - Sept. 30, 2023

(September 30, 2023) When I say there is no stopping these "Hawks" There is no stopping them! They keep "soaring" higher and higher! "Hawk" C/Capt. Roberts, who first joined our "nest" in Jun 2022, received the Amelia Earhart Award today. The Earhart Award marks completion of Phase III of the CAP Cadet Program, recognizing sustained excellence in all four areas of cadet life: leadership, aerospace, fitness, and character. Further, Earhart Award cadets must have passed comprehensive examinations on leadership and aerospace topics. Now what marks this as an incredibly special day for our "Hawk" is that this distinguished award was presented to her by current Thunderbird #4, Maj. Schlichting!!! We are incredibly proud of C/Capt. Roberts as she is continues to be an inspiration to others! Join us in giving HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to C/Capt. Roberts "Hawk" style! Special thanks to 2nd Lt. Firnkoess and the USAF Thunderbirds!!!
