Senior "Hawks" Form 5 - July 1, 2023

(July 1, 2023) These "Hawks" just keep on "flying"! This time it's our Senior "Hawks". We had 1st Lt. Arnoldy and 2nd Lt. Brannan prepare for their Form 5. A Form 5 is an annual Flight Evaluation that is given by the Civil Air Patrol to determine a pilots competency to fly aircraft on missions. It is something that our piloting "Hawks" have to take every year. They have to go through various tasks like: basic instrument maneuvers, performance and ground maneuvers, and even emergency operations. It is a lot of preparation work but nothing that these two amazing "Hawks" couldn't handle! We here at the "nest" wish to congratulate 1st Lt. Arnoldy and 2nd Lt. Brannan for passing their Form 5! Go 45! Go Hawks!
