SoCal Air Show - Apr. 22-23 2023

April 21st, 22nd, and 23rd were very special days. Why? Well, it was the weekend of the SoCal Air Show! The air show was held at March Air Reserve Base, home base of the 'Hawks'. Many Squadrons from all over California Wing came out to lend a helping hand. Assisting with everything from directing traffic, trash duty, operational support, transportation, serving food, among many other important duties. This air show is one of the biggest in the state and it has been nearly 5 years since its last occurrence. The return of this years air show did not disappoint as there were many top performers like Vicky Benzing, Kent Pietsch, the F-18 Super Hornet West Coast Demo Team, the Patriot Jet Team (the only civilian jet team), and the USAF Thunderbirds! In addition there were also many static displays of military aircraft like the B-1B, C-5, F-22, F-35, A-10 and more. The 45th Composite Squadron would like to thank everyone that came out to help in this massive endeavor and special thanks to all who took photos! There were many photos taken and we wish that we could have used each and every one of them but here are some for everyone to enjoy. There is nothing that cannot be accomplished through teamwork. It is through all the blood, sweat, and tears of our members that made this weekend successful....
